We're Ron, Lisa, and Banjo, and we believe life is best lived with curiosity, a sense of humor, and a willingness to take the scenic route.

We love travel in all its forms: the dreaming, the planning, the research, and the excitement of setting off for somewhere new. Whether we're heading to a campground in the Rocky Mountains or boarding a flight to a faraway destination, we're always looking for the next adventure.

Over the years, we've learned that travel isn't about perfect itineraries. It's about collecting experiences, meeting interesting people, discovering hidden gems, and embracing the unexpected. Sometimes a wrong turn leads to the best adventures.

In fact, when Lisa traveled with her four children years ago and missed a turn, she'd often reassure them by saying, "We don't get lost; we have adventures." That philosophy has guided her through life, from raising a family and moving across multiple states to careers in journalism, marketing, and freelance writing.

Ron approaches life with a similar spirit. One of his favorite quotes, often attributed to John Muir, is: "Adventure is calling, and I must go." After signing off from his work as a healthcare IT executive, he grabs his camera gear and heads outside. A lifelong photographer, Ron loves capturing images of zoo animals and wildlife, landscapes and constellations, family and pets.

Which leads to Banjo, our loyal trail companion. If he had a favorite quote, it would probably be "Adventure is out there!" from the movie Up. Whether he's riding in the camper van or leading the way down a trail, he's always ready to explore.

Through this website, we'll share travel stories, photos, videos, tips, and lessons learned from our journeys by camper van, car, airplane, boat, and foot.

Our goal isn't to showcase perfect travel. It's to celebrate real travel, one adventure after another.
